Senior Associate Director - Rural Land Management

Shrewsbury

Permanent

Full-Time

60,000 + car allowance + full benefits

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing Rural Land Management and Consultancy team based in Shrewsbury

This role will focus primarily on estate and property management across a diverse rural asset base, including let farms, residential property and broader strategic landholdings.

You will act as lead agent for a flagship estate client while contributing to the wider team's success in areas such as natural capital, diversification, and professional valuations.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading the delivery of day-to-day management services and driving strategic outcomes for a key retained client. The team works closely with colleagues across estate agency, farms, and forestry, offering a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach.

Key Deliverables

  • Acting as principal agent / lead asset manager for a major rural estate
  • Overseeing day-to-day asset management and helping progress client strategy
  • Coordinating delivery across business lines
  • Managing secured lending and other professional valuations
  • Driving business development and identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Ensuring key deliverables are met to client and internal standards
  • Maintaining strong compliance and governance

  • Providing confident leadership to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Experience managing significant rural portfolios, including let farms, residential property, and mixed rural assets
  • Proven leadership and team management ability
  • Strong prioritisation and project coordination skills
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • Financial and commercial awareness
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow the wider business
  • Person Specification

    Qualifications :

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • MRICS qualified - rural pathway preferred, 3-5 years PQE minimum
  • CAAV or SAAVA qualification an advantage
