The Role

As a Personal CareAssistant , you’ll be part of our client’s dedicated support team, providingessential care in their home. You’ll be employed by HomeCareDirect but willfocus solely on supporting this client.

This post is for 16hrs a week,working on a Thursday and Friday, 8am to 4pm.There is a requirement for you to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pmduring school holidays.

Requirements

About the Client & Your Responsibilities

Our client is a young lady whoneeds social support to attend activities in the community. She enjoys a wide range of interests includinganimals, music, art, swimming, forest school and shopping. We are looking for a friendly and supportive supportworker who will accompany her and provide companionship.

You will also assist withpersonal care when needed, including support with getting in and out of thebath and hair washing. Additionally, youwill help to prepare meals and share mealtimes with our client to promote awarm and engaging atmosphere.

This post requires travelling into the community, therefore a driverwho has access to their own vehicle is preferred.

Training & Support

We provide comprehensive,paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering :

All training must be completedprior to start date and is paid at £14.00 per hour
