DOE | Outside IR35 I'm working with a respected Building Services Consultancy supporting a nationwide retail project, and they're looking to bring on a Mechanical (biased) Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activity across multiple live sites around the UK. Key Responsibilities : Oversee mechanical commissioning from installation through to handover across retail projects

Coordinate with design, installation, and client teams to ensure commissioning is aligned with programme and quality expectations

Review commissioning plans, witness testing, and verify system performance

Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and H&S requirements

Provide regular updates, technical support, and guidance across the delivery teams

Required Experience : Proven experience as a Mechanical Commissioning Manager within building services

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and commissioning practices

Retail, commercial, or fast-track project experience is highly desirable

Comfortable with UK-wide travel and managing multiple concurrent sites

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
