English Teacher – Secondary School (Colchester Area)

Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking to make a real difference in young peoples lives? We are seeking a talented and motivated educator to join our vibrant and supportive secondary school located in the Colchester area.

Position : English Teacher

Location : Colchester, Essex

Contract Type : Full-time, Permanent (Part-time considered)

Salary : MPS / UPS (depending on experience)

Start Date : September 2025 (or sooner if available)

About the Role :

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering a love of literature and language while supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.

What Were Looking For :

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• A strong subject knowledge and passion for literature and language
• The ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
