What the role involves?

We are looking for a results driven technical sales representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out, engage and support our products throughout London & Southern England :

  • Understanding the technical requirements of the customers application and matching them to our product portfolio
  • Explaining complex technical features and benefits to (potential) customers
  • Supporting customers with demonstrations and illustrations of similar installations
  • Liaising with our distributors and service partners throughout the territory
  • Attending conferences and exhibitions as required
  • Observing and assessing markets and applications to feed back to the parent company for marketing and product development
  • Monitoring and reporting on market development and marketing initiatives
  • Ensuring that sales objectives are met
  • Updating customer communication and contact information and reporting to management as required

What we need?

  • Educated to degree level (ideally chemistry, chemical engineering or other similar related field) or with significant experience in commercialisation of laboratory equipment
  • Technical knowledge, understanding and experience of working in at least one of our key market areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Initiative, self-motivated and the ability to work remotely from the office
  • Understanding of the sales process, from prospect to installation
  • A team player
