PQE : 7+ years
Salary : £72,000 – £85,000 + benefits
We are working with a highly regarded multi-office Legal 500 firm seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate or Salaried Partner to join their well-established Commercial Property team in central Birmingham .
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially-minded lawyer to step into a senior leadership role, driving forward the department’s growth and development while supervising junior lawyers and managing a varied and high-quality caseload.
Key Responsibilities :
Transactional Work –
- Drafting, negotiating and completing leases, licences, agreements for lease and related documentation
- Acting for SMEs in the purchase and sale of commercial property
- Advising bridging lenders and other lenders in secured property finance matters
- Acting for Receivers, Liquidators, and Administrators on property sales
- Handling property aspects of corporate transactions (e.g. share sales, mergers, restructures)
- Conducting property due diligence, reviewing title, leases, searches, etc.
Team Leadership –
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyersConducting regular supervision meetingsSupporting team development and contributing to department strategyRequirements :
Minimum 7 years’ PQE in commercial property lawStrong technical and drafting abilityExperience supervising junior lawyersExcellent communication, commercial awareness, and client care skillsProactive approach to business development and team growthAmbition to play a leadership role in a growing teamBenefits :
