M&E Quantity Surveyor

James Lewis are currently working with an MEP-led Principal Contractor to help secure an Intermediate to Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to add to the team. Working across a range of project sectors which include data centres, education, commercial, healthcare and science & technology in and around London and the SE, they have a real focus on critical infrastructure. Their services start from design, through construction and fit out to the maintenance of the projects, effectively offering an end-to-end solution. This project is a datacentre which is the 3rd data hall they have constructed on this campus since 2018 and with the enabling works, groundworks and below-ground infrastructure all completed in Q1, the concrete slab and steel frame has recently been erected. The company has enjoyed significant growth in recent years, with an extremely healthy pipeline of new projects secured into 2026 ensuring that it is a great time to be joining them. Key M&E Quantity Surveyor responsibilities :

• Manage feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labour costs.
• Single point of contact to fully understand project’s commercial needs, evaluating different options to fulfil them and propose the best solutions in a reasonable, professional way
• Manage cost throughout the project stages through to financial close and during construction
