Toolmaker

We’re hiring for a Toolmaker to join a precision-led manufacturing business based in Oldham. This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll work to tight tolerances and get involved in a wide range of toolmaking activities. What’s on offer?

• 15.00 – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Monday – Friday (38-hour week)
• Flexible start / finish time
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Extra day’s holiday every year (up to 7 years)
• Overtime paid at an enhanced rate
• Standard pension scheme What will you be doing as a Toolmaker?
• Toolmaking for moulding applications, including full refurb and maintenance
• Stripping, cleaning, and assembling moulds on a regular 16-week cycle
• Precision work using grinders, EDM, wiring, and polymer machinery
• Producing components to tight tolerances from dyed roughed-out materials
• Ensuring tools are in optimal condition through fault finding and preventative maintenance What do you need?
• A recognised qualification in engineering or toolmaking
