Embedded Software engineer Job in Cambridge - £35k-£45k Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a rapidly expanding manufacturing firm, based in Cambridge now seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join an experienced team of embedded software engineers. You be working to support the creation of high technology electronics systems for mobile and covert security. The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer ideally with good experience working within electronic engineering. This is an Embedded software Engineer job focusing primarily on writing software, improving software (bug fixes) and testing existing products. Key Skills :

• Extremely competent ‘C’ programming skills.
• good understanding of real time operating systems e.g. Linux.
• Writing and debugging software using Eclipse in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of video compression standards.
• Good understanding of communication protocols.
• Ability to read & understand schematics and data sheets as they relate to firmware development.
