We are looking to recruit a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our client's busy, award-winning hotel kitchen. Set on the Roseland Peninsula, the hotel benefits from spectacular sea views and the natural beauty of the rural landscape, located south of Truro.
This is a pivotal role within the kitchen, responsible for taking the lead in the head chef's absence. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills while maintaining respect across all levels within the kitchen. Supporting and mentoring junior chefs to develop their skills is also a key part of the role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and level. You should be focused, driven, and passionate, with the ability to command a kitchen, mentor others, and work effectively as part of a team. A desire to progress professionally and a history of longevity in your CV are also important.
