Job description

What will I be doing

  • As a driver working within the Manchester contract, you will be required to drive and operate class 2 vehicles to meet the needs of the business.
  • We expect candidates to deliver a high standard of service and ensure compliance with health and safety, and contractual requirements at all times.
  • Bank holiday and weekend working will be required.

What are the requirements

  • You must be able to demonstrate a passion for driving, coupled with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to be part of a successful, hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working with waste vehicles is desirable but not essential as full training will be given where necessary.
  • Rough terrain driving experience is preferred.
