Wraparound Care Assistant

About the Role :

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our After School Club team at Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children aged 3–11 in a busy and welcoming school environment.

You’ll help to supervise the children after school, lead and support a range of play-based activities, and contribute to maintaining a calm, safe and friendly atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities :

Supervise and engage with children during after-school activities

Set up and support indoor and outdoor play

Prepare and serve light snacks

Ensure the welfare and safety of all children in your care

Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies

Work as part of a small, supportive team

What We’re Looking For :

A genuine interest in working with children

Friendly, approachable and professional manner

Reliable and flexible, with a positive attitude

Experience in a similar role or setting is desirable but not essential

A current DBS certificate is beneficial but can be arranged if needed

Basic first aid knowledge is a plus (training can be provided)
