Support Worker (Waterside)

Support Workers – Adults with Complex Needs Location : Waterside Day Service, West Midlands Hours : Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm (Full-time) Duration : 3 months+ ongoing Pay Rate : £16.50 per hour Stoke-On-Trent City Council are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to join the team at Waterside Day Service, supporting adults with multiple and complex needs in a day service setting. Key Requirements : Experience providing personal care using moving and handling equipment (e.g. hoists). Ability to assist individuals with eating and drinking, including those with dysphasia. Confident in supporting people with non-verbal communication needs. Experience managing behaviours that may challenge. Comfortable working in 1 : 1, 2 : 1, or small group (1 : 4) support settings.
