Vehicle Fitter

We currently require a number of Vehicle Fitters on behalf of our client based near Stafford.

You will be provided with a full training programme that offers support with using hand / power tools, but previous experience would be desirable.

Working hours : 08 : 00 – 17 : 00 Mon – Thurs, 08 : 00 – 14 : 00 Friday.

Duties :

• Operate production equipment to assemble products according to specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Handle materials and supplies needed for production, including inventory management
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and welding
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills

• You MUST be comfortable using hand and power tools
• Be able to read drawings and diagrams
• Have own transport due to location

These roles are long term but could lead to permanent placements for the right candidates
