The Opportunity
Amey Consulting is a leading provider of engineering and infrastructure solutions across aviation, transport, and public services. Our Airport Infrastructure Team designs and maintains aviation assets to ensure airports operate efficiently and sustainably. We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team, with shared offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow . We welcome applicants from across Scotland.
We are actively working on Edinburgh, AGS (Aberdeen, Glasgow, Southampton), and Cranfield Airports, with a strong pipeline of future opportunities at other UK airports. Join us to shape aviation infrastructure nationwide.
The role
As an Engineer, you will support a team within the Pavement and Asset Management Practice to deliver schemes for clients. Your responsibilities include designing and delivering projects such as pavement assessments and renewal schemes, ensuring roadway durability and safety.
As an Aviation Civil Engineer , your role involves designing, developing, and optimizing airfield infrastructure to meet client needs, including pavement design for runways, taxiways, and airport stands, along with all supporting infrastructure interfaces. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions. Key responsibilities include :
