Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer
Salary : £45,000 - £50,000
Location : Erith
About the Role :
This permanent position provides comprehensive technical support to our Client's Technical department across all project stages : tenders, pre-construction, design, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities :
- Produce and manage RFIs.
- Review project specifications and tender offers for technical compliance.
- Support Sales with tender clarifications and exclusions.
- Verify material / equipment compliance and costs.
- Contribute to Project Execution Plans (PEP).
- Support pre-construction and prefabrication / Off-Site Assembly design.
- Produce technical submittals and installation information.
- Procure major plant & equipment.
- Attend design meetings / workshops; review / produce drawings / schematics.
- Interface with internal control teams.
- Review mechanical system commissionability.
- Support testing & commissioning.
- Produce As-Built / Handover documentation.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Basic Autocad / Revit skills preferred.
