Founding Engineer

Job Description

We're supporting a stealth-mode AI startup in hiring their Founding Engineer.

This is a deeply early-stage company working on compliance + governance in the age of AI — lots of fascinating data challenges, and a real opportunity to help shape both product and culture from the ground up.

What they’re looking for :

• Full-stack product skills : From backend infra to frontend UX (unless more specialised).
• ML / AI expertise : Ideally has built or deployed models, understands LLMs, NLP, vision, or other relevant domains.
• Startup-readiness : Can build v0 → v1, tolerate ambiguity, wear multiple hats.
• Ownership mindset : Thinks like a co-founder (even if not titled as one).

Tech Stack : TypeScript + SvelteKit, PostgreSQL, and Python

Bonus if you have a fintech / regtech background. Even bigger bonus if you're excited by agentic AI + machine learning (or keen to grow into it)
