The Role : C Grade, Real Estate Tax, Asset Management, T&L

The KPMG real estate tax team is a fast-growing part of the KPMG tax practice. We are looking for excellent candidates who are seeking a dynamic and challenging working environment within a strong supportive leadership team.

Our team includes individuals with backgrounds in professional services, tax, legal, accounting, regulatory sectors, as well as industry experience, bringing practical insights to client support. We provide support, encouragement, and training to help you thrive at KPMG.

Successful candidates will have opportunities to specialize in real estate taxes. We welcome informal discussions to explore these opportunities further.

The Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge in real estate taxes, including REITs.
  • Support client relationship management and project delivery, acting as a key contact for real estate tax clients.
  • Understand client businesses and collaborate across KPMG to identify service opportunities.
  • Develop and advise on innovative client propositions.
  • Engage in business development and proposal activities.
  • Collaborate globally to deliver high-quality real estate tax support.
  • Contribute to developing new client propositions, working with technology teams to create solutions and delivery models.
  • Promote KPMG and the real estate tax team, aiding business growth through high-quality service delivery.

    • The Person :

  • Deep technical expertise in tax or financial services, supported by relevant qualifications or practical experience.
  • Practical experience in real estate taxes within financial services, industry, or professional roles.
  • Understanding of financial markets, participants, and products such as property rental, hotels, institutional investors, and asset managers.
  • Strong project management, delegation, coaching, and client-facing skills.
  • Enthusiasm for emerging technologies and their integration with evolving tax regulations.
  • Ability to leverage new tax developments to create client propositions.
  • Passion, resilience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous learning.
