Aligra, recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client, is seeking dedicated Class 2 HGV Drivers for exciting opportunities in Bridgend. Our client specialises in the safe and timely delivery of food and drink products, and we are looking for passionate individuals to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Safe and Timely Deliveries :  Ensure the safe transport and delivery of food and drink products to various locations.
  • Daily Vehicle Inspections :  Conduct thorough daily checks to ensure your vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition.
  • Route Planning :  Efficiently plan routes to maximise productivity while adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Loading and Unloading :  Safely load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure and protected during transit.
  • Documentation :  Complete all required paperwork accurately for each delivery.
  • Customer Service :  Provide excellent service by communicating effectively with clients.
  • Health and Safety Compliance : Report any incidents, accidents, or near-misses immediately to ensure a safe working environment.

    • Requirements :

  • Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Class 2 HGV driving experience.
  • Valid UK CPC and Digi Tacho cards.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including early morning shifts.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • Strong knowledge of EU driving laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
