Finance Assistant

Location : Office based, Alva, Clackmannanshire - FK12 5DQ

Salary : £23,985-£26,275 per annum, DOE plus benefits

Contract : Permanent, Full time

AccuBio Ltd. (manufacturers of In vitro Medical Devices) are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant.

Job Role :

As our Finance Assistant your main role is to support the finance department in managing the financial transactions of the company.

Main Responsibilities :

Transactional processing, investigating and resolving of issues covering the following areas :

Purchase Ledger
Sales Ledger
Cashbook
Employee expenses
Credit control
Supplier Reconciliation and analysis
Bank Reconciliation
Payment runs

General Administration :

Variety of administrative tasks to assist finance department

Ordering office and general supplies

Clerical duties – checking, scanning and filing of documents

Answering incoming calls

Greeting visitors when they arrive at reception

General Areas of Responsibility :

Carry out all duties and responsibilities to the company standard within the timescales required.

Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Maintain compliance with QMS policies and procedures.

Maintain compliance with GDPR and Cyber Security policies and procedures.

Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

A minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in a finance department

AAT / HNC or equivalent qualifications

Experience with purchase ledger

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent organisational skills

Experience of using ERP systems
