Job Description

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Senior Support Practitioner for a 4-bed Children's Home in Wellingborough.

We are seeking a Senior Support Practitioner responsible for the daily operations of the Children's Home, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and promoting the safeguarding of young people's welfare. The role includes participating in the on-call roster to support the home.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the residential home daily, ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements, including health and educational needs of young people.
• Liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure young people receive appropriate support and rehabilitation plans.
• Coach, support, and develop staff through supervision, ensuring high standards of care, ethics, and compliance with policies and legislation.
• Assist in budget preparation and manage financial parameters.
• Interpret and implement legislative changes related to occupancy and ensure compliance with updated requirements.
