Job description

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with an expanding organisation based in Glasgow, to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a 12 month Fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a small friendly team. This role is an office based post.

Responsibilities :

  • Input of high volume transactions including orders, GRNs, invoices and the matching thereof.
  • Liaise with operations staff to resolve discrepancies in goods received / invoiced amounts
  • Processing of weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Use of excel spreadsheets for upload / reporting purposes.
  • All other general administration duties as and when required

Main requirements :

  • Previous purchase ledger experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team Player
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High levels of attention to detail
