To be considered for this role as an Electrical Design Engineer you will be :
- 2 years minimum in an Electrical Design Engineering role (5 years for higher salaried roles)
- Electrically Qualification as Level 3 in BTEC or NVQ (HNC for higher salaried roles)
- Work from home with travel to UK sites, primarily between London and Manchester.
- Electrical Design Engineering experience within industrial or food manufacturing environments.
- Hold an 18th Edition Package
- Annual salary of £33,000 - £44,000 depending on experience

- Monday – Friday working Key Responsibilities of this role as an Electrical Design Engineer you will be :
- Generate panel layouts and bills of materials
- LV distribution and cable calculations
- Generating electrical control schematic diagrams
- Generating instrument loop diagrams / cable block diagrams
- Generating PLC wiring diagrams and I / O schedules
- Machinery safety circuit design and risk assessments to BS EN ISO 13849 / 60261
- Preparation of supporting technical & installation documents
- Liaise with site teams to meet project deadlines
- Lead project commissioning & safety validation
- Work in a safe and sustainable way Requirements of an Electrical Design Engineer you will :
- Have experience of AutoCAD
- Amtech experience or equivalent
- Be confident in fault finding in large panels and machinery
- Have experience of motor starter control types, instrumentation and PLC control wiring systems
- Have knowledge and experience of machine safety and circuits. It is desirable that you have a knowledge of SIL and machine PL ratings
- Understand the relevant standards to control design and industrial automation
- Work from home with travel to UK sites, primarily between London and Manchester.
