Teaching Assistant - Secondary School - Enfield
Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Enfield to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of academic and additional needs.The school offers a well-structured support system and is looking for confident, adaptable staff with good subject knowledge who can assist across multiple curriculum areas.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide in-class support to students across KS3 and KS4 in a variety of subjects including English, Maths and Science
- Support students with SEN, EAL and other learning needs to access lessons and make progress
- Assist with adapting resources and scaffolding tasks to suit individual learning styles
- Work closely with subject teachers and SEN staff to implement strategies and monitor progress
- Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage active engagement in learning
- Support with small group interventions, exam preparation and homework guidance
