LOCATION : UK Flexible (Glasgow, Belfast, Salford, Birmingham, Cardiff, London) Hybrid

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE : £24,800 - £33,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Manager Advice are integral to the BBC HR Organisational Transformation programme. You will be playing a key role in coaching, guiding and upskilling our People Managers to confidently and competently manage everyday people matters.

You will be responsible for supported case management, for a full range of ER matters, and joint delivery of our Line Manager Essentials Training Series. You will coach, guide and develop managers, on how best to deal with people matters.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT :

  • Predominantly a case management role, delivered by telephone / on-line
  • Providing accurate and appropriate advice and guidance on people management issues
  • Updating case management systems and data fields accurately and within SLA’s
  • Working as part of a team to achieve team goals and SLA’s
  • You’ll need to be able to attend sites throughout the UK for regular and ad hoc meetings.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA :

  • Previous experience in Employee Relations
  • Good, up to date knowledge of current UK employment law
  • Experience of HR Case Management Systems
  • Flexibility to travel to different UK sites when required, including occasional overnight stays
  • Ability to build rapport and trust quickly when dealing with managers.
