Summary

Jack Richards are looking for professional Class 1 (C+E) Day & Night Drivers to join our well-established, family run haulier. We have various Day and Night Shifts available, please see below.

  • We will consider applications from Drivers with at least 6 months’ Commercial Class 1 (C+E) Driving experience

Preferred Experience :

  • Curtainside Trailers
  • Timber
  • You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, hold a UK digital tachograph card and a full DQC (CPC card)

    • Role involves :

  • Ensuring vehicles comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your DC team
  • Ensure the security and accuracy of delivery of the loads in your charge
  • Following delivery instructions accurately and effectively
  • Drive in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

    • Days :

  • 5 / 6 Days (Monday Start Day) : c. £43,400 + Bonuses (see below)
  • Tuesday to Saturday Days : c. £41,400 + Bonuses (see below)
  • Mon to Fri Days : c. £40,300 + Bonuses (see below)

    • Nights :

  • 5 / 6 Nights (Monday Start Day) : c. £45,200 + Bonuses (see below)
  • Tuesday to Saturday Nights : c. £41,700 + Bonuses (see below)
  • Mon to Fri Nights : c. £40,600 + Bonuses (see below)
  • 6 per shift worked Retention Bonus (c. £1,300 – £1,500 p.a.)

    • The above figures include :

  • Enhanced Rates after 10 hours
  • up to £10 per Day Meal Allowance (Tax Free)
  • Company Pension
  • Get paid 13 times a year (4 weekly)
