Generator Service Engineer

We are looking for experienced Generator Service Engineers. The role will be responsible providing onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your key responsibilities will include :

• Both Workshop and Onsite customer support to our range of Generators within the region
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
• Repair and service of generators and associated equipment
• Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
• Have the ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Good customer service skills Key skills we are looking for :
• Minimum of 5 years experience servicing Industrial diesel generators in a field based role
• Excellent working knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
• Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
• IT Proficient
• Interpersonal relationships / Customer awareness / Commercial awareness
