Job description

As a Chef de Partie at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you are part of a team responsible for executing fine dining dishes, ensuring each component is prepared to perfection to deliver an exceptional culinary experience on board. Working under the guidance of the Executive Chef, you will ensure all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. Primary Responsibilities Include :

  • This is a seasonal role (fixed-term contract) running until 5 December 2025.
  • Preparing, cooking, and plating dishes according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality and quantity standards of preparations.
  • Maintaining the quality, flavor, and consistency of all items from your station.
  • Supervising and training junior kitchen staff in your section.
  • Monitoring ingredient levels and assisting in inventory management.
  • Following food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic work area.

What You Bring :

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
  • Culinary training or degree in culinary arts preferred.
  • Ability to be innovative and creative.
