VANRATH are recruiting a Joiner to work within the Building Maintenance department for a large, leading Construction Company, covering properties across Armagh, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry. A company van and fuel card are provided.

Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of joinery components within residential properties. This role combines expertise in joinery with skills in related trades such as minor plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance tasks to ensure properties are structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing, and functional.
Key Accountabilities :
Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal components to construct or repair doors, windows, cabinets, and other joinery itemsInstall and fit joinery components including locks, handles, hinges, and fittingsRepair or replace damaged joinery components such as skirting boards, staircases, and kitchen unitsAssist with minor plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, replacing taps, and fixing plumbing fixturesRespond promptly to maintenance requests and complete assigned work orders within specified timelinesMaintain accurate records of work completed and materials usedThe Ideal Person :
Relevant trade qualification - NVQ Level 3 or equivalentValid CSCS / CSR cardRelevant on-site experience in similar roleBasic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in ConstructionProven experience in joinery work including installation and repairBasic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems related to joineryKnowledge of joinery materials, tools, and techniquesAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyPrevious experience in a similar multiskilled role within the construction or property maintenance sectorFull UK driving licence
