Our Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious History specialist who is looking for a step up to become Head of History. You’ll be leading a team of talented History Teachers, and History graduates that will train to become teachers.

Our school is very well known and is oversubscribed year on year. The Senior Leadership Team are exceptionally strong, and the school has a brilliant track record of producing excellent results. You will be joining an excellent humanities department and will have the chance to make a real difference within the department!

Ideally, the Head Teacher is looking for a History Teacher with experience of being a 2iC, KS3 / KS4 Coordinator or having similar responsibilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead Practitioner of History (History Teacher)
• Delivering History lessons to KS3,4 & 5
• Supporting the current HOD & Graduates coming through the School
• Focus on raising attainment and the quality of learning
• September start – Full Time – Permanent
• 50,025 to £60,943 per annum (dependant on experience)
• Located in Hertfordshire
