Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Our Edinburgh based client are looking to onboard 5 x Senior Infrastructure Engineer's to sit within their 24 / 7 operations team for Networks and Mainframe. The team operate on 12-hour shifts, 365 days per week on rota. This rota is a mix of dayshifts 7am - 7pm and nightshifts 7pm - 7am. This will be running 4 on 4 off rotation thus weekends will be included. The role will be fully on-site in the Edinburgh office due to the nature of the work.

Given there is multiple headcount, they are looking for a mixture of skillsets. It would revolve around hands-on engineering in a Cisco Network capacity or in a Mainframe capacity with an appreciation for Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.

In terms of top skills;

• Cisco Networking background or Mainframe background
• Basic understanding of AWS or Azure
• CCNA or CCNP Certification is a nice to have
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls
• Network engineering, troubleshooting and support

The role have a basic salary bracket of between £55,000 - £65,000 + £13,400 Shift allowance per annum. Other notable benefits - 10% pension contribution.
