We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher with a passion for Resistant Materials to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Design and Technology department based in Basildon. As a DT Teacher, you will inspire and guide our students through the exciting world of design and manufacturing, enabling them to explore their creativity and develop key skills for the future.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Resistant Materials at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Plan and implement engaging lessons that encourage practical and theoretical learning.
• Develop a curriculum that reflects the latest trends and technologies in design and manufacturing.
• Support students in their project work, helping them design, create, and evaluate practical solutions.
• Promote creativity and innovation in design processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the department to share best practices and resources.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and assist in their academic and personal development.
• Support students in preparation for GCSE exams and assessments.
