Building Control Manager

Our client, is currently looking to engage a skilled Building Control Manager on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in overseeing building control activities and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities : Managing building control operations and ensuring adherence to building regulations Conducting site inspections and assessments to verify compliance with approved plans and safety standards Reviewing and approving plans, specifications, and other pertinent documentation Liaising with architects, contractors, and developers to provide guidance on regulatory requirements Overseeing the issuance of building control notices and completion certificates Implementing quality control measures and continuous improvement practices Investigating and resolving any issues or non-compliance incidents effectively Maintaining accurate records and reports related to building control activities Job Requirements : Strong experience in building control In-depth understanding of building regulations and compliance standards Excellent project management and organisational skills Ability to conduct thorough site assessments and inspections Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting technical plans and documentation Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Relevant qualifications in building cont...
