Function / Team Summary
The Business Operations and Strategy (BizOps) team is a dynamic, cross-functional group responsible for spearheading high-impact strategic initiatives, optimizing business and sales operations, and managing performance across regional payment and money movement ecosystems. Acting as a critical link between executive vision and operational execution, the team works across Product, Technology, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Implementation, Client Service, and more—driving the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Director to lead business strategy and operations within our regional payments ecosystem. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance strategies and operational models, while identifying and driving new commercial opportunities. You will manage and mentor a high-performing team and coordinate a broad range of cross-functional workstreams to deliver outstanding results aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership :
Define and execute business strategy and vision for the payments ecosystem, aligning with broader corporate objectives.
Lead the development, commercialization, and launch of new solutions and enhancements, leveraging deep market insights and internal capabilities.
Drive transformational change across the organization by championing innovative approaches and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence :
Oversee and optimize operational frameworks, workflows, and ecosystem performance, ensuring superior quality, efficiency, and scalability.
Identify and implement improvements to operational systems, establishing and maintaining governance models, playbooks, and best practices.
Craft project plans detailing requirements, budgets, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and risks ensure timely, high-quality execution from concept to implementation.
Commercial Growth :
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market and commercialization strategies to drive growth, profitability, and ecosystem adoption.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
Collaborate with regional and commercial teams to define and implement monetization strategies and exceed sales objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Serve as a key liaison across Product, Technology, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, and Client Service teams.
Align and mobilize cross-functional teams towards shared goals, balancing business priorities with operational realities and cost structures.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication :
Foster clarity, transparency, and strong relationships among internal and external ecosystem participants.
Negotiate and establish operational rules, communication protocols, and regular performance reporting for stakeholders and senior management.
Generate actionable business insights and granular performance reports to inform decision-making.
Team Leadership :
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of operational, commercial, and analytical professionals.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and development opportunities foster a culture of excellence, adaptability, and accountability.
Travel Requirement : This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
