PRODUCT MANAGER (MASS SPECTROMETRY)

Based in Livingston, Grw Talents client comprises of a group of European companies engaged in the design, development, manufacture and distribution of analytical systems, life science equipment and laboratory instruments with operations dating a number of years. They design, develop, supply and support Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry product lines for a range of markets including forensics, food quality, environmental, pharma and life sciences. The company maintains a global infrastructure to support sales around the world. Manufacturing is in both the Netherlands and Livingston. The business continues to invest heavily in research and development of new instruments and market solutions and has truly remarkable growth expectations for the coming years.
In this role you will support the growth of their Mass Spectrometry product line, and they are looking for an experienced and strategic Product Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of the GC-MS products and will be driving the development, launch, and continuous improvement of products. You will collaborate closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure the products meet the needs of laboratories across key market segments. This position also plays a vital role in representing the company at industry events and in standardisation organisations, where some travel to locations around the globe will occasionally be required.
Responsibilities :
Ideally you will have a degree in Engineering, Physics,Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a relatedfield. An advanced degree (MSc, PhD, or MBA) is a plus. Candidates who do not have the educational requirements but who can demonstrate equivalent experience will be considered. You should have experience in Product Management within the scientific instrumentation industry (e.g., analytical instruments, lab equipment) and ideally a background in Mass Spectrometry applications development, validation and standardisation, preferably using gas or liquid chromatography.
