Job description

The Role :

We're recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for an excellent customer within the building materials sector.

A forklift license is essential for this role

Must hold drivers licence as occasionally may need to cover for the driver.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and organising the Warehouse function efficiently and safely, ensuring that the team complies with legislation and company standards.

In the role of Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for motivating your team and managing their performance, all whilst providing a high level of customer service at all times.

Experience & Skills :

  • Previous supervisory experience within a warehousing environment
  • Previous people management experience
  • FLT licence

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Ensure a safe warehouse environment, adhering to Health & Safety procedures
  • Plan, organise and co-ordinate warehouse activities to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Control order picking, goods in, goods out operations assigning workloads areas for improvement and implement change where appropriate
  • Organise, facilitate, and manage stock takes at regular intervals
