We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join one of the UK's most comprehensive manufacturers of precision castings Based in Halstead, Essex to work in a climate-controlled inspection lab.

The ideal candidate will need CMM experience (Coordinate Measuring Machine)

The Role

• You will be responsible for measuring both un-machined and machined castings using CMM and hand-held measuring equipment, working to demanding aerospace standards.
• Experience in programming and operating CMM and similar measuring devices.
• Carry out final inspection, FAIR and in process inspections on castings.
• Understanding of CMM programming. QCT software would be advantageous.

Working Hours

Rotating shift pattern of one-week earlies (07 : 00 – 15 : 00) and one-week lates (15 : 00 – 23 : 00), or permanent lates if that suits the candidate. Shifts will start after an initial period of no more than 3-months on days

30-40K DOE + £1.50 PH working late shift
