About the User Experience (UX) Designer Role
We're partnering with a charity on a short-term engagement to support the design and development of a new digital platform. We're looking for a talented UX / UI Designer to take full ownership of the user experience and interface design. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead the design process end-to-end-from discovery through to delivery-helping the organisation shape a meaningful and user-centred platform.
This will be a hybrid role based in Soho, London.
User Experience (UX) Designer Responsibilities
Lead UX discovery sessions to understand user needs and business goals
Translate insights into intuitive design solutions
Create wireframes, user journeys, interactive prototypes, and mockups
Develop a comprehensive design schema including components and (where needed) a full design system
Collaborate closely with product teams, stakeholders, and developers to refine and iterate designs
Ensure accessibility and usability across all touchpoints
Align designs with existing brand guidelines and tone of voice
Ideal User Experience (UX) Designer Skills & Experience
Proven track record delivering UX / UI design for web or mobile products
Strong portfolio showcasing projects from concept through to delivery
Proficient in design tools such as Figma , Adobe XD , or Sketch
Experience creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and scalable design systems
Comfortable working independently and managing your own project timelines
Ability to work in agile or fast-paced startup-like environments
Bonus : Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and user testing methods
