The Role :

Are you enthusiastic, passionate, and eager to make a difference with a proactive attitude? GreenBest is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience and a proven track record in maintaining buildings, services, and equipment. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be essential to our operations, ensuring facilities run smoothly and safely.

The successful candidate must be based within Somerset and / or within a commutable distance to the site in Henstridge.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Preventative Maintenance : Proactively identify and address maintenance needs to prevent breakdowns.
• Maintenance Execution : Perform maintenance tasks including working with compressed air systems, production equipment (automated filling lines, mixing tanks, etc.), pipe fitting, racking, basic electrical maintenance, and construction work.
• Contractor Engagement : Coordinate with external contractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Improvement Projects : Identify, design, fabricate, install, and commission improvements.
• Compliance and Safety : Participate in health and safety activities, ensuring standards are met.
• Inventory and Procurement : Manage maintenance stock, order spare parts, and source quotes.
• Equipment Management : Conduct inspections and maintain maintenance check sheets.
