We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced BI professional to join our dynamic team as BI Developer (Qlik) based at Klarent’s Glasgow Head Office. This role will be pivotal in helping us unlock the value of our data to support decision-making and business growth across our hotel portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape and work with the latest technologies.

The Role

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, the BI Developer will :

  • Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense applications and dashboards to support performance reporting and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Integrate and manage data from various sources through effective ETL processes.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across reporting platforms.
  • Provide technical support, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for BI tools and applications.
  • Maintain documentation for BI solutions, processes, and data models.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proficient in QlikView and Qlik Sense, including scripting, data modelling, and dashboard design.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communicator, comfortable working cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in BI development (QlikView / Qlik Sense).
  • Qlik certifications highly desirable.
  • Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
