Creative Assembly is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Platform Team at our headquarters in Horsham, West Sussex. This role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in data engineering. It offers opportunities for technical growth and involvement in innovative projects that enhance player experiences through data.
Key Responsibilities
The data platform team ensures consistent, timely, and accurate data delivery to consumers while maintaining scalable and efficient pipelines. Our technology stack includes :
- AWS Kinesis
- Databricks DLT
- PowerBI / Fabric
- SQL Server
Daily Tasks
Develop and maintain data pipelines.Implement and ingest game telemetry for new products.Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and other data consumers to create useful data models and pipelines.Maintain high data governance standards with clear documentation of data sources, tables, and logic.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience (Essential)
Strong SQL skills and knowledge of modern data engineering processes and lifecycle.Experience with Python for data manipulation and transformation.Experience with platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.Experience handling large-scale, event-driven datasets.Interest in gaming and supporting game development.Passion for transforming data into insights.Experience with enterprise data warehouses or lakes.Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.Experience using PySpark.Understanding of telemetry data from games or IoT devices.Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.Familiarity with Git, CI / CD pipelines, and their implementation in data engineering.About Creative Assembly
