Job Description
1st / 2nd Line Support Technician required. Our client is a privately owned and highly successful Logistics, Construction and Maintenance business, employing over 2,000 people in the UK. They are now looking for an experienced 1st / 2nd Line Technician to join their IT team of 6, based in Paisley.
The successful candidate will be working with the in-house IT team to maintain the infrastructure of our communications, networking and collaborative tools and processes. Customer service skills are essential as well as excellent knowledge of Azure.
Position Overview
- Act as a point of contact for calls / emails from staff regarding IT issues
- Receiving, logging and managing calls from internal staff in person or via email
- Troubleshooting of IT related problems from in-house software to hardware.
- Troubleshoot network issues
- Take ownership of calls and provide on-site support
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries
- Liaise with in-house technical and operational staff pro-actively.
- Manage endpoint device deployment including configuration and asset updates.
