Site Engineer

Our client is a reputable highways contractor delivering key infrastructure improvements across Yorkshire. They are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to provide holiday cover across multiple live sites for a 2-week period.

Role Overview :

The successful candidate will support ongoing highway projects with a focus on drainage works, ensuring site activities run smoothly and in accordance with design specifications and health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Setting out and surveying for highway and drainage works
• Working closely with site management and subcontractors to coordinate daily operations
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
• Ensuring work complies with project specifications and safety regulations
• Recording and reporting progress to senior engineers or project managers
• Managing quality control and documentation on site
