Are you passionate about supporting your local community and making a real difference in people’s lives?
We're looking for two passionate and multilingual individuals to join our Primary Care Assessment Team (PCAT). This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the heart of Southall, supporting local residents who may be struggling with alcohol or drug use and are not currently accessing structured support.
You'll be based across Southall GP surgeries, working in partnership with GPs and our wider RISE treatment team to provide early engagement, brief psychosocial interventions, and onward referrals to specialist care.
To meet the needs of our local Southall community, applicants must be fluent in English and one of the following community languages : Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi, Farsi or Arabic. This is essential for effective communication and culturally sensitive care.

You will be working closely with Southall residents, particularly those from Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi, Farsi, and Arabic-speaking communities, to provide early support around alcohol and drug use within GP surgeries. As part of our Primary Care Assessment Team (PCAT) , you’ll help identify and engage individuals who may not yet be accessing structured treatment, offering culturally sensitive and language-appropriate support at the earliest opportunity.

Hours : 37.5 per week, Full Time
Full Time Salary : £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 Dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, Pro Rata for part time hours)
Allowance : £4,072.06 Inner London Weighting, paid Pro Rata
Contract Type : Fixed term for 12 months
