Civil Litigation Lawyer

Job Description

We are currently in partnership with a London Borough who are recruiting for an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to cover for a maternity leave on an 11-month temporary contract .

This is a London-based position with once a week on site per week, as well as some court attendance, on a full-time contract of 35 hours per week. This organisation is offering a negotiable rate dependent on experience .

The main purpose of this role is to provide a range of legal support to help ensure the successful delivery of the initiatives across the London Boroughs represented by the firm.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) :

• Dealing with a wide range of litigation matters including but not limited to :
• Non-residential property litigation
• Commercial and contract disputes
• Debt recovery (high and low value)
• Public law
• Orientated dispute resolution
• Discrimination and equality claims
• Injunction applications and judicial review claims
