Location : Edinburgh, Witham or Peterborough (We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, and our hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office a minimum of 40% of their time).

Salary : A competitive salary from £63,440 – £95,160 depending on the experience you can bring.

As a Solution Architect, you will report to the Lead Solution Architect and play a pivotal role in shaping our technical landscape. This is your chance to lead architectural consultancy efforts, design innovative solutions, and help create an effective, efficient and sustainable architecture for Aegon UK.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architectural Analysis – Collaborate with senior business and IT colleagues and conduct investigative analysis to find effective business solutions.
• Solution Architecture – Develop comprehensive solution architectures considering various perspectives (business, technical, data, security, cost, etc.). Produce detailed component specifications and logical designs. Support implementation of solutions.
• Design and Delivery – Oversee technical and solution design activities ensuring adherence to relevant standards.
• Technical Expertise – Maintain broad architectural knowledge through continuous learning and stay updated on industry best practices and developments. Provide advice and promote knowledge transfer to colleagues.
