About The Role

Balfour Beatty has a fantastic opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join the Power T&D team.

You will work alongside the Project Manager / Project Director and project team, with accountability for successful project delivery including planning, delivery, monitoring, and handover / close out.

This position is site-based near Sudbury, Suffolk, and is a fixed-term contract for 23 months.

What you'll be doing

  • Main duty to supervise Project Security Sub-Contractors.
  • Brief the working party and ensure it is followed to completion.
  • Set people to work and supervise a right-first-time delivery to safely and sustainably develop and deliver to programme and cost.
  • Manage logistics of site set-ups and ensure compliance with security management plan and policies & procedures.
  • Monitor assets and processes to minimise losses to the project.
  • Manage and care for the people delivering the works, monitoring compliance and meeting customer / project requirements, objectives, and constraints such as time, cost, quality, and safety.
  • Attend weekly project meetings.
  • Maintain accurate project records (progress, daily diaries, etc.).
  • Prepare internal / external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of Security and CCTV Schedule in line with works programme and budgets.
  • Ensure Site Security arrangements are implemented and set up as per site plans.
