  • You’ll be responsible for proactively responding to alarms, minimising service outages.
  • You’ll promptly perform necessary actions to restore service during degradation or outage conditions.
  • You’ll escalate incidents as per procedures and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • You’ll conduct regular checks on systems and services to ensure reliability.
  • You’ll monitor distress traffic in the network and take immediate action if needed.
  • You’ll identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
  • You’ll actively contribute to continuous improvement by presenting ideas and creating efficient operational and technical processes.
  • You’ll provide support, coaching, and training to other engineers and teams.
  • Good understanding of satellite communication networks, systems, and propagation.
  • Knowledge of VSAT, Ka-band, L Band, and C bands.
  • Familiarity with digital communication networks, protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing), and architecture (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Starting salary of up to £38,000.
  • 40% Shift allowance + 10.5% bonus.
