Class 2 Day Driver

Enterprise Driver Recruitment are looking for a Class Two driver for a permanent role with one of our clients in Stockport.

You will be responsible for completing local runs delivering steel. Experience in a similar role would be ideal. Experience in securing loads to a flatbed vehicle using straps and / or chains is a must. Some handball may be required at certain drops for smaller deliveries.

The hours will generally be between 08 : 00-16 : 30 Monday to Friday, no weekend or bank holiday work required.

PAYE Pay Rate

Class Two Monday to Friday - £13.78 when going full time based on a 40 hour week. Hours over this will be paid at time and a half. A pay review is currently taking place with a pay rise expected imminently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following :

Valid Class Two (Category C) entitlement

Valid Driver Qualification Card

Valid Driver Card (Digital Tachograph)

Be competent at securing of loads (steel)

Be flexible in your approach to work
