VP Credit Risk Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading financial institution seeking a Vice President, Credit Risk with a focus on the Energy Sector .

The Role

We are looking for an experienced credit officer with a strong background in corporate credit risk , particularly across :

Oil & Gas

Utilities

Commodity Trading Houses

You will play a key role in assessing and managing credit exposures within these sectors, ensuring robust risk analysis and decision-making in line with regulatory and internal risk frameworks.

Key Requirements

Demonstrable experience in corporate credit risk analysis within the energy sector

Strong understanding of structured commodity trade finance

Familiarity with lending and derivative products used in energy and commodity markets

Proven ability to assess complex counterparties and structures
